Cool Links For Kids

There's tons of stuff on the internet on the environment especially for kids (although lots of these sites are fun and informative for adults, too). Below are some links that you might find interesting and informative, especially as they relate to what we are doing here in Brooks Township and the Newaygo area. If you know of other links that we should put on this page, click here to let us know about them.

Recycling is one thing we can all do to lessen our impact on the environment. When we recycle, we can reduce the amount of energy we use, we can reduce water pollution, and we reduce the amount of materials we send to landfills. When you click on this link, you'll be taken to a town called Recycle City, where you are the mayor and you have to decide how to clean up your city. You'll need Shockwave version 6.01 to play this game, but you can download it free from the game website. Good Luck!
